There are several ways you can help the Society financially

Larry E. Easton Endownment Fund: Our goal is to build up an endownment for the archives to be self-supporting in the future.

Archives Building Fund:  The Larry E. Easton Memorial SLHTS Archvies is one of the finest railroad society archives in the country and owns it's own building.  Thousands of Soo Line coroporate and private files and photographs are housed there.  It plays a vital role in production of the SOO magazine and a great resource for members.  Annual maintaince costs are over $13,000.  

Archives Committe Fund:  Besides the upkeep on the building, the dedicated archivists need office supplies etc. to keep providing information sought after by our members.

Preservation Fund:  The SLHTS is often asked to donate monies for various railroad preservation projects such as Soo Line equipment or depots.  We can no longer use the society's operating funds for this.  Please considering contributing to this fund so our Board of Directors can distribute much needed monetary support to these preservation projects.
